Nothing we do at The Xcel Project would be possible without the incredible support of our funders and project partners. Their belief in young people, community, and positive change allows us to create safe spaces, run meaningful programmes, and reach those who need us most.

Funding doesn’t just keep the lights on — it fuels opportunities, builds confidence, and helps us turn ideas into real, lasting impact. Our partners bring skills, experience, and shared values that strengthen everything we deliver.

We are deeply grateful to every organisation, trust, and supporter who walks alongside us. Together, we are not just running projects — we are building brighter futures.

Holywood Trust
The Holywood Trust is a charitable organisation which aims to help young people in Dumfries and Galloway. It gives grants to individuals and organisations, creating opportunities for young people in the region. They have supported the Xcel Project since it started in 2005.

Project Partners

Creatomatic

Creatomatic have been building digital for our clients since 2012. The collective team of developers, designers and digital marketers collaborate on all of their website projects, blending beautiful, bespoke design with the latest technologies to enhance user experience.

Activities

Our activities form the basis of everything we do. We offer opportunities for young people of all ages to engage with the project, have fun, learn and develop themselves. We are always looking at new ideas for projects and activities.

Leadership

Leadership is an important part of the Xcel Project. The majority of our volunteers are under the age of 25 and we also want to give young people who have engaged in the project previously the chance to stay involved.

Employability

We want to challenge young people to look at what they are going to do when they leave school or exit further education. We will encourage them to think about their future and provide them with the information and skills they need.
